Features of this home
Natural elements were used on the exterior of this custom two-story, four bedroom home. The neutral stone and paint colors compliment the Transitional architectural features and give it a timeless look and feel.
The foyer is open and spacious with plenty of natural light from the windows planking the front door. Past the entry, the great room has a large and open feel with 18 foot ceilings and plenty of windows. The gas fireplace carries the design of the drywall the full length of the wall to create a focal point in the room. The open-concept of this home blends the kitchen, great room, and dining area together and is great for entertaining.
The kitchen has ample storage and was designed to take full advantage of all the space by placing the pantry in the crook and rounding out the design. In the kitchen they make full use of their island by placing their stainless steel sink and dishwasher within in it. The island also serves as a perfect eating area for family members to grab a quick bite or for guests to sit while entertaining. The two tone cabinets between the wall cupboards and the island add a warmth and richness to the whole lower level.
The mud room, located off the kitchen, has an abundance of shelves and cubbies for quick organization and storage space for outerwear, shoes and other items. There is also a separate laundry room, located off the mud room that offers additional storage and counter space to help keep things organized.
The first floor master suite has tray ceilings and a large walk in closet. The room was designed with enough space to accommodate bedroom furniture and a sitting area without making the room look crowded. The large master bath has a walk in, natural stone tiled shower with built in nooks to give it a custom finish. Also built in to the master bath is a vanity station with plenty of counter and cabinet space to maximize storage.
Leading up the open stairway are three bedrooms, all accompanied with large closets that include shelving and rods to store just about anything! There is also a full bathroom with double sinks and a separate toilet and shower room.
The bonus room above the garage offers endless possibilities - an office, playroom, or multi-use room. The sprawling vaulted ceilings and a large window creates an open feel with plenty of natural light.
The plan for this Transitional home is adaptable and very appealing to the needs of this family or for the couple that loves to entertain.

Carstensen Homes / Marso Co. has a phenomenal system in place. Our service exceeded my expectations on every level. The contractors we worked with provided craftsmanship that is top shelf. We were very impressed that everyone we interacted with during the entire process, even after we moved in, genuinely cared about making our home perfect. After closing, we still have the support of the entire Carstensen Homes / Marso Co. team.
Building a home with Greg Marso and his team is the only way to go. Our standards of excellence both in quality and ingenuity have been met. A very special thank you to everyone involved in the process to create our beautiful new home. We could not be happier. It is nice to work with people who really care about satisfying their customers.
